White Elephant, or in Thai CHANG PHUEAK,
is a rare kind of elephant, normally soft reddish brown,
turning a light pink when wet. They have fair eyelashes and
toenails. The King of Thailand have 10 White Elephants.
Chang Pheueaks are sacred and a symbol of royal power.
All those discovered will through a ceremony be presented to
the King. The elephant needs a lot of care and could not be
put to work, so it could be a great financial burden, so only
the King and rich people could afford to keep one.
